Eagle Scout Service Project Application Process

Using the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook the Scout is to read and fill out pages 1-6 for his own reference.

Once a project idea has received tentative approval from his unit leader, the scout is to complete pages 7-10. This is the "Eagle Scout Service Project Proposal Section. After acquiring the appropriate signatures, the Scout will present his project proposal, in person, to the District Advancement Committee for their final approval.

The District Advancement Committee meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00PM-8:00PM in the library at Bethany Christian Church, 1920 N. Rangeline Rd. (200 East and 200 North), Anderson, IN. Upon approval, the Scout may start his project.

After the scout has completed the service project, he needs  to complete the pages in the section, "Eagle Scout Service Project Final Plan, 11-22 of the workbook. When the Scout is finished with this section, the following documents should be collected and presented neatly, in a folder or a 3-ring binder.

The folder or binder must include:

1.    Eagle Scout Application (fully signed)

2.    Requirement 6 (see the back of the Eagle Scout Application)

3.    Eagle Scout Service Project Proposal (pages 7-10)

4.    The Eagle Scout Service Project Final Plan (pages 11-22)

The Completed folder or binder must be taken to the Anderson Scout Office. The Anderson Scout Office is located at 1420 E. 10th St. Anderson, In 46012.
